The expected decrease in tourists in Bulgaria can be overcome

Fear of crisis in the tourism sector as a consequence of global economic processes can not be justified if Bulgaria create conditions to make tourism more attractive than in other countries, said Vice-President of the Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association Dimitar Karanenov. Factors that are available: excellent territorial distance of our country from Western Europe, new hotel facilities and relatively low cost of the proposed tourist services.

The state and representatives of hotel and tour operator business have to work hard and purposeful in advertising activity, useful experience can be drawn on our direct competitors of the tourist market - Turkey and Greece.Bulgaria must lay particular stress on the open advertise, thus highlights the advantages of Bulgarian tourism, summarizes Karanenov.

The high quality of services, combined with well-trained staff are among the important conditions for attracting foreign tourists in Bulgaria, Dimitar Karanenov notes. Hotel owners must increase their staff`s qualification, language and loyalty to the employer.
